I’ve played halo from beginning and love it paid plenty of money doing so due to dlc’s . Now on the other hand things are starting to annoy me I stay in Scotland and for that reason I’m not allowed to rank up by the level 70 I’ve posted on the OFFICIAL SPECIALIZATION POST but its so busy after 10 minutes my messages were lost in a mountain of messages for days I’ve tried to get contact with someone but can’t.I think it’s pretty pointless stopping people from ranking up because they just stop playing I’ve been sittin for days now trying to resolve my problem and not playing the game which I PAID for not for one quarter of a game. I have nothing left to do. Got all achivements so if i cant rank up theres no point in getting any commendations because i presume you lose all the xp same as when you hit the daily xp cap so i may aswell be playing another game as I imaging thousands across the uk and other excluded countries will be which only results on people not playin your game and frustration for me seeing as this is/was my favourite . What makes it EVEN more frustrating is I’ve played with gamers over level100 it’s just disappointing. If anybody is in the same boat or has got any info please respond the Official post is just full of people kidding on they lost their code and not this problem not that their isn’t genuine cases its just not the same thing

Did people complain when they weren’t given access to the Limited/legendary content?
Everybody WILL get it sooner or later, but until then 343i will just do what they can to keep everybody happy.
On another note, you paid for Halo 4, you have Halo 4… The specialisations are part of a service provided by 343i and Microsoft, which you paid for in the form of your gold account and part of that purchase is updates released whenever 343i/Microsoft want to… so I’m afraid that although you paid for the game, you also signed a contract with your gold account that says you are ok with waiting to get these “extra” services.
I don’t know how you could go about arguing that you should get them right now.

devalued? lol, well arent you special mr.pockets.
That’s fair enough but all it does is stops people playing the game which defeats the purpose of it it would be different if all the xp and commendation xp was kept til they opened but you lose all of those points now the dlc’s another £17 and probably won’t get specs with that thanks for your vote anyway : (

I’ve been saying this for a while now. These aren’t extra or bonus features. They’re core gameplay features that everyone is intended to eventually have. If we’re all meant to have them eventually, and the only reason to make them exclusive to certain players is to drive early sales, and the period during which you could have obtained those early sales has PASSED… there’s no more benefit to keeping them exclusive.
I know some LE owners want them to be but… tough imo. These should never have been locked to begin with, and the way in which they were distributed has been a total fiasco as far as I’m concerned.

Perhaps I was wrong?
I don’t know if I class specialisations as “core gameplay”, and I don’t think it’s a good idea to use them to drive sales either.
But, I guess they SHOULD be available for everybody… the problem isn’t that it should be given to LE owners, the problem is that LE owners should have gotten something small and special for their purchace like FOTUS on the console, we should have gotten something equal to flaming helmet or the recon armour permutation in reach?

I’m not mr.pockets, I just saved up very hard for the game since I heard it was coming out, which is why I’m annoyed that the LE is pretty pointless and basically comes with NOTHING other than a different case.

So, I wasn’t trying to offend you… my main issue is with the fact that the inclusion of early specs in LE was little more than a joke.
But, I think my point about our GOLD service is still valid, I don’t agree with it but you all probably agree that as long as you pay for your gold service, 343i and Microsoft will take their time and give you content when they are ready to and there’s not a lot we can do to hurry them up.
The only thing that really matters to 343 and Microsoft is money. So, vote with your wallet. The problem is people talk, talk, talk, but they end up supporting this type of thing.
Me, I’m level 68. Unless they unlock it or provide the code when I reach 70 I’ll simply stop playing. Which means I won’t be getting any dlc. And the next Halo…maybe when it’s dirt cheap, and if I can’t find a next-gen game that fills up my multiplayer fps needs.
343 doesn’t care, because if they did they would, at the very least, tell us when they will unlock. As it stands it could be next year.
Sad thing is I enjoy the game, and have always liked(and supported) halo. But I guess it’s my fault for playing too much of their game. Shame on me.
