Which email will the specializations code be sent to? The one I log into live with or the one that is set in my contact preferences? Also have the emails been sent yet?
I’ve been wondering the same. I’ve been told the emails are going to be sent to the account your GT is linked to. I am a bit worried since i never got anything like the part of the Halo 4 cover art puzzle in this account, so i think I’ll be skipped over.
So the email it’s sent to is the contact preferences one? If so, thanks a lot Rushu.

Then make them the same? Not that hard. Mine are the same.

If you can’t even log into your gamertag, you got more to worry about than some specializations. Can’t help you if you can’t log in. I’m surprised you are even able to log into waypoint.
Actually I’m really confused on what your problem is.
I can no longer enter the inbox the my gamertag is associated with (The one that I log in with) but all my of emails and such regarding purchases etc. come in through the email assigned in my contact preferences. I’m just wondering if the codes will come throught the “Contact Preferences” email, as all anyone has said is the email associated with my gamertag.

Right, but if you log in Waypoint/Xbox.com with it, you CAN log into hotmail or live or whatever the email you log in with happens to be. So why are you saying you can’t? Either way, I’m assuming it’ll be the contact one, but I won’t know since mine are the same.
Login email is from an old ISP.
Well, that was a mistake then, using your ISP email. Anyway, if you wanna fix it, I’m assuming your only option is contacting Microsoft. Though, it’s probably not necessary.

How do you know its the email in contact preferences? i was under the impression they would use your windows live id?
