Specializations Effectiveness

With all the post about not getting specialization codes, I wanted to bring up a point that these perks are in no way game changing. I am only level 83 atm, but so far I have Engineer, Rogue, and Pioneer completed. So far the perks are -meh-. Stability does not seem to make that much of a difference, fast track adds a measly 1078xp to a spartan ops mission where I can get 11.9k anyway, so its not that amazing of a perk, and drop recon (I honestly have not even tried). To me the original tactical and support upgrades are superior in most instances. Aside from unlocking new armor and levels, people really are not missing out. I understand people want to continue to earn xp (it should be banked if you are capped, my opinion anyway) but I don’t think anything about those perks will make anyone that much better or give that much of an edge. They may fit your play-style a bit more than the originals I suppose. Personally I prefer dexterity to stability mode for instance.

What are your thoughts? If you have experience with any of the specializations post and tell us what you think. I am just curious if others feel the same way.

ground breaking or not, they affect gameplay. rather that be a small change or a game-changing experience… noone should have any kind of ‘advantage’ ill call it, over another player.

a DMR battle from long distance will be won by the Stability perk against someone without it 9 times out of 10. an ordanance change from something useless into a rocket launcher or binary rifle can add another 3-4+ kills before death. allowing walking speed with a turret can allow you to get that extra ONE step behind cover before the final headshot kills you. etc etc

People don’t want specializations because they are pay2win.

People want them for variety.
