So I’m in Europe and don’t check these forums a lot so I’m sorry if this has been asked in a thread or another topic. Anyways, I pre-ordered Halo 4 SE from Amazon and of course never got any of the Specializations as Pre-Order bonuses. So once I’ve hit SR70 - no where near there yet so I’m still gonna play obviously - that’s it for me as far as EXP gathering goes? Or is there something I can do to get the Specializations WITHOUT having to pay another dime to 343 or MS?
Apparently 343 said they “would unlock the specilisations once the community reaches a certain milestone” whatever the hell that means.
That’s 343’s way of saying “We don’t really care about you.”

I dunno for certain to be honest, its just what i read while checking responses prior to the codes going out. If its true, its a bit of a piss take at best. At worst its a giant middle finger to everyone who didnt buy LE, or had managed to buy and play the game before the 20th.
As for that last bit;

@OP ; Dude, make sure your PM settings here are changed to “allow all”. This site defaults to “buddies only” for PM’s. That means this kind chap above can send you his code without any fuss. Good on you Joe.

If they dont have that “MILESTONE” extremely low, then people who will buy the game for Christmass, and find out thet they are screwed at level 70…

I actually feel betrayed about this. Been a halo player since CE and basically I have been told to bugger off. Really bums me out.
Thanks for all the replies guys! I’m mostly calm now but it still angers me that 343/MS/whoever let parts of the community miss out on this offer, certainly shows where they are maybe focusing their goals on - $$$.

Me too, and I’m very annoyed about 343i and how unfairly they treat us. I got standard edition so I basically have no access to specializations except the starting two. Even worse, a friend of mine bought LE, redeemed the code from it and he didn’t get the Specialization. 343i should just end this -Yoink- and give access to Specs for every player for free!
