Specialization Unlock Message

Dear 343 Industries,
I accidentally deleted a message that I received about unlocking 6 specializations for Halo 4.
Is there anyway to redeem the code/message???

When I called XBox Live they said all these messages are going through you guys so I should try and post something in the Forums to see if you can do anything about it.

I had also deleted my email by accident. I’m not sure why you can’t resend the code or have any means of contacting 343 directly. This is really frustrating.

This had also happen to me, I did not receive a email though, only a Xbox message and I deleted it cause it had no code.

I got confused reading your message. Did you mean:

“When I called XBox Live they said all these messages are going through you guys so I would just wait.”

Or

“When I called XBox Live they said all these messages are done going through you guys, so I should try and post something in the Forums to see if you can do anything about it.”

343 should send this kind of stuff to our personal emails not our XBox Live account so we can have a record of it… plus, it would also be easier to punch in the codes having it on the computer…

@NneXuzZ: I said what I said. 343 sent out these messages with the codes to everyone’s XBox Live account in-box. So when I called the XBox Live support line, they told me I had to post something in the Halo Waypoint forums since it was something that didn’t depend on XBox Live but on 343.

Same issue here and a similar response from Xbox LIVE support. The agent I talked to said he bets they will implement a trash for messages if enough people call in but anyway. He also helped me find out that the billing contact info was WAY out of date and I think it was the email they sent it out to on the first attempt… which no longer exists. Mine contained a code but a portion of it was cut off and I was trying to scroll and when it wouldn’t let me I accidentally hit A. If we could get an official response on this it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

P.S. For those of you that got LIVE messages I would advise checking the billing contact information link on Sign in to your Microsoft account. This is also apparently the info they use to authenticate you so it is good to have up to date.

That was their first solution, but the problem with that was that most people had unchecked the box that allows xbox to send messages to their emails. The people who did have that box checked did get their codes through email, and those that didn’t got xbox live messages if you notified them about the email.

This happened to me too. Has anyone been able to get their code back? The code was not sent to my email, and I get other messages there from xbox…I’m so frustrated!

I guess this happened to me as well. I hardly ever check my e-mail to begin with, much less my spam. I never got an Xbox message, but I know I played the game online before 11/20 because I have achievements from launch day. I really would like to have another email sent out.

I started playing before the 20th and never received a code on xbox live or in my email…I am stuck on level 70 and have been for about a week. I hope this gets resolved soon.Can someone from 343 please at least send an email or message with a status report? Please.
