I know that if you “connect to xbox live and play before Nov 20th” I will unlock the ability to later use the other specializations. The part that worries me is the “connect to xbox live” part. Does a trial (the one contained in the Halo 4 box) count for this. Normally I wouldnt ask, but apparently there are some restrictions to the trial account, such as I cant use file share. I was wondering if this would be a problem for unlocking the specializations? I know they likely have not sent the email with the codes, but I don’t want to miss out when they do.
