Specialization promises

343 promised specializations would be unlocked for everyone that played the game before November 20. Well its November 20 and I’m a 58 I want my other specializations once i reach 60 well where are they and why can’t i see them in the menus?

Dat Voice.

They said they’d be unlocked for se players who PLAYED halo 4 by nov 20th, not that they’d be unlocked by nov 20th…

lol it makes me laugh how many people don’t understand simple english.

you will receive an email by dec 1st with a code (official word from bs_angel’s twitter)

Wow dude. 343 never said anything of the sort for one. For two, it was Microsoft that made that offer. The deal is if you play online before 11:59 pm today, they will send a code to your Microsoft account email some time between tomorrow and November 30 to unlock the other specializations. So just be patient and stow that entitled attitude you have.

So… anytime now?

> So… anytime now?

If by anytime now you mean any time between November 21st and December 1st, then yes.

> So… anytime now?

Yup. It’s time to play the waiting game.

As if you are entitled to anything. Really bad attitude.

> As if you are entitled to anything. Really bad attitude.

Actually yeah he is entitled to it.

The entitlement attitude, what you are refering to…is when you’re just expecting something for free, like wellfare.

When you purchase a product where the manufacturer/seller/developer has made a promise, YES, you ARE in FACT entitled to it, as a matter of law.

Is TC a pain in the -Yoink- for demanding it right now? Yeah, the devs clearly stated what the time frame was.

Is TC an -Yoink- for wanting what he paid for? No, not at all, because he is IN FACT entitled to that.

Is it wrong to feel entitled to continue leveling up in a video game if I want to? I didnt think that was something to be grateful for, seeing as every other game with leveling in the past didnt have restrictions like these.

Oh well, I’ll continue waiting for my Stalker specialization. I knew I should have spent the extra money for the Limited Editon.

I agree with what he says. When a manufacturer says they’ll do something, they are in fact liable if they renege on what they said. And the whole “Limited Edition Only” unlock of other Specializations is stupid; not everyone had the money to get Limited, and even if they did, (like me) they were unable to get it due to insufficient numbers.

why no more specializations im at 70 and cant no higher why

Same problem here, by the time I got around to gamestop the limited editions were already gone. I don’t live in a town which has one, I have to go well out of my way to go to gamestop for that sort of stuff.

As a business student I thought it was a really bad move on their part, when they clearly could’ve generated more revenue by increasing the amount of limited editions available.

What specializations are we talking about anyways? What do they do?

Here you go

When you get to SR-50, you can choose a Specialization. There are 8 of them with 10 levels each. When you level a Specialization, you get emblems, armor pieces, a weapon skin, a visor color and on the 10th level, a unique armor mod for your loadouts.

Ahhhh, I see. It’s just spiffy new armor bits…

Thanks for the link!

they do more than give you armor. each one has a special ability unique to that specialization. Wetworks, for example, allows you to use Active Camo without the stupid “cloud of dots” and makes it hard for Promethean Vision to see you too.

This. Though i didn’t realize Wetworks buffed Camo. I thought all it did was speed up assassinations, resistance against Promethean vision and quiter footsteps?

LOL. I paid an extra AU$60 for Legendary cause I wanted early access to the specializations. (The maps probably cost that anyway so I’m not too worried) but when I heard they were giving them out early anyway I was like what a waste… I haven’t even hit 50 yet and could’ve bought the cheap copy and got them for free…

Once you get your specialization to level 10, can you then choose another and go back and forth between them? and eventually get to level all of them or are you just stuck with the one you have?
