Does anyone else think it’s unfair that Microsoft released those Specialization for almost every player? I mean, what’s the point of buying a limited edition, if there’s not too much “limited” about it. The extended edition of forward unto dawn was also a scam, it didn’t had any unseen footage. I’m very disappointed about my “limited edition” extra content. I bet they’ll give away the maps as well given enough time.
If this is accurate I feel extremely ripped off and it is a terrible way to treat your loyal fan base.
I already paid for these unlocks so its not a present even though I received the email saying they are giving me one.
343 better come up with something awesome for the collectors edition owners or risk alienating their most loyal fans.
Well they didn’t give the codes to everybody. They gave codes to people who live in certain countries, were old enough, have access to an email, played by the 20th of Nov.
So whoever didn’t meet those requirements has to sit at level 70 until they decide to release more specializations.
Just be happy you’re not someone who didn’t meet the requirements.

I look at it this way.
The game’s levels are easy to rise in. Coupled with exp codes, you should get the SR-50 fairly quickly. Unlike us SE users who have to go through this step of waiting for a code ( like i am), you don’t. That alone is a perk of an LE.
It’s gets better. While i am stuck at SR-70 with Wetwork and Operator, you can work on ones like Rogue or Pathfinder while i cannot. Another plus for LE users.
Plus, as someone said already, not everyone is getting codes. It depends on the country or something. Age limits too.

You weren’t buying EXCLUSIVE access to the Specializations - you were buying EARLY access. Big difference. Read the terms next time.

There is a big difference between early access on exclusive. LE users were given early access. That means i got to continue to level up while most people that met the age requirement were level locked at 70. We also paid for the maps at a discount. We got some collectibles.

Then why the -Yoink- did you buy the LE? If you bought it for early access to the Specializations, then yeah, you have SUCKER tattooed on your forehead. Limited Edition / Collector’s Edition are exactly that- stuff for people to collect and enjoy. If you didn’t want the case, booklet, soundtrack, or whatever else it came with, then wtf were you thinking? That paying more was going to give you an advantage? THAT would be ridiculous.

Obviously I do.
Not the only reason I bought it but yeah I’m a bit disappointed its not as exclusive now its available to more people.
Oh well live and learn.
I feel like it’s shady marketing but whatever. I’m over it, I didn’t realize people would get stuck at level 70 if they didn’t have the specialization.

Here we go again, another entitled cry baby. Lets have everyone else be stuck in position unable to level, unable to use exp for months because I feel I need a longer head start then the 25 days given to me. You aren’t special. You paid for early access. You got early access. If you didn’t make good use of it then that’s your fault. Man up, accept that your time is over and quit whining.
when you buy the limited edition you get the war map pas so you saved 25$ by getting it + you got all that kick -Yoink- collected stuff. other than that i think they made a good choice by giving them 2 every one other wise the people would feel cheated getting only half of the game. you shouldn’t be crying you got them a month before everyone elss

Wow you guys are ungrateful turds. I understand that the Limited Edition isn’t feeling that “limited” right NOW. ALMOST ALL GAMES DO THIS NOW. Ya’ll should’ve learned that most games eventually give away there content. I got limted edition and I love every second. I got a ton of lore to store away for years to come that no one else got. Heck I got a sleek box that has a one of a kind number on the box. I think that is pretty limited.
bottom line is You shouldn’t buy limited edition mainly for exclusive in-game content. Although it’s great and has it’s perks, it’s the lore that should get you to buy it. because ten years from now you can say I have this physical piece of material that represents a game i played a lot as a kid or what ever you are.
Sadly most of you who are complaining probably complain that rich people have too much money or some junk like that. Get over it.
People who played halo by the 20th of November got the code for the Specializations. i agree with the owners of the limited edition that they were ripped off by this but at least its only a one time thing.
To the collector edition owners that are complaining, if it was such a chore to pay 40 extra dollars and you feel that you are being ripped off. i will gladly trade you my standard copy and 40 bucks lol. To be honest i really wanted to get a collector copy mainly just because ive played halo since day 1 and have never bought a collector or legendary edition and would love to have one that many of you feel so “ripped off by”. Just take my advice. there were hundreds to thousands of people that really wanted a collector edition and it was sold out before they had the chance to grab one,even on the first day it was up for preorder (me being one of those people.) Dont take it forgranted =)

Microsoft/343 Hate Europe thats why I mean this isn’t the first time something like this has happened, with the free Live weekend happening Europe has been taken out whilst the rest of the countries enjoy it and I’m sure there are plenty more accounts of stuff when Europe gets shafted.
IMO they should have made it so when a map pack comes out, an extra 2 Specializations are released (for free) for everyone with the standard edition. That way, by the time the 3rd map pack comes out everyone who didn’t get the LE will have access to all the specializations.
