listing their gamertag and that they meet the requirements to receive the email. I just looked and I have mine so if you have not been on, check when you are.

no they said they were sending codes to people xboxs so expect one this week on your xbox or xbox.com

Sorry to tell you but the issue isn’t resolved, or at least not for me, and I suspect many people. I posted all the info requested in that forum page, have a valid email address (unless AOL isn’t valid, but that doesn’t explain the other xbox emails I get), am 17+, and do live in one of the regions that are getting codes.

They haven’t all been sent yet; she said in her update that she would update again once they had all been sent out and it hasn’t happened. I got mine this morning around 10 a.m. EST via XBL messenger.
im sure there are alot of people who did post in that thread and are still waiting, including me. if theyre having to do it by sending it thru XBL it might take some time.

how do you sign into messenger it always says"cant sign into messenger" when i do auto sign in. help

I use AOL also and get messages from Xbox.com

Not that messenger, no worries. In your Xbox Guide, where you have Friends, Messages, Party, etc., it will be a message just like one that a player would send you after you owned them in matchmaking.

Hit the menu button then go to setting, go down to preferences and then choose Online Status. After that go to Messenger and if it’s not already, choose Online. You will get it in a message from “LIVE” like you would anyone else.
I been defending 343i since the start and I been preaching to everyone else that we should all be patient and it takes time but I have had my last ounce of pro 343i sucked out of me. This whole spec code issue is a complete joke! no way 343i & MS should have agreed to such a promotion, it was a horrible concept, horrible execution and has had horrible results. I will always love Halo for what it is but highly annoyed by how it was handled. BTW 343i does have input as to how the promotion would be done, they could have said “no, we think its not the best idea.” the code unlocks 343i spec codes that they coded as locked so both 343i & MS work hand in hand on this one. Said said execution. I work at a company that merges technology with other companies and no 1 company has complete say when there is a joint venture, trust me.

I agree with you, they messed up. You will get your code though, the messages are being sent out all throughout the week. Just keep checking for it.
