I’ve been sitting at level 70 for several days now, patiently waiting for my specialization code, when it was announced today that all the codes had been sent I happily logged into my email account that I thought was attached to my Xbox Live account only to find I hadn’t received my email.
After doing some investigating I discovered in my contact preferences that the email listed for my account that marketing emails would be sent to is an email I have NEVER used.
As far as I can tell it’s an email address that doesn’t even exist.
I have now changed it to an email that I have access to, but I need the specialization code email to be resent to me, I meet all the qualifications to receive the early specialization code, but I now need help with how to approach solving this and getting my code.
Any knowledge or help with this you can share would be greatly appreciated.
Specialization codes already emailed (including ones sent to emails no longer active/accessible) will not be resent. Unfortunately it says this in the disclaimers of the original notification email. I’m sorry to hear of your situation.
The best I can tell you is to keep your head up. About 50% of the community that feels it should have gotten a code still hasn’t received one. I’d be willing to bet options will open up for you in the coming week. Also, I wouldn’t bother MS support about it. From what I’ve seen they can’t do anything for you. This is a 343 issue unfortunately.
I feel your pain. I actually have access to the email it was suppose to be sent to, but still never got a code. The only hope we have is that many people got screwed like us, and hopefully 343 will do something about this, but if they don’t announce something this week I will be done. You think they would have just sent everyone an xbox live message with the code in it, but they didn’t. You would also think that they would have done a Frequently Asked Questions sooner that said to make sure that the email you want the code sent to is the one under contact preferences, but they didn’t. The silence from them is really starting to bother me.
I didnt get mine either! I met all the criteria to get it: I played it the day it came out, and I still havent gotten it yet! Is there ANY way to recieve it? I really want those specializations! If not, how long will it be before they are released to the public? Please help!!!
