specialization code didn't work - is total bs

I bought halo within the first week of it coming out. I got the email to redeem specializations, and when I tried, it stated it was already redeemed. A week later, I get a message on my XBOX stating I haven’t turned my code in yet (same code as before), I try it again, says the same thing.

As I’m nearing level 70, this is unacceptable. It looks like there are quite a few people in my same boat. Support sends you here, and make it sound like all you have to do is post and bam - problem solved. Well, this is now tied to my XBOX account, so anyone with credentials can check my story and see it’s 100% accurate.

I need my codes. I’m sick of waiting. I’ll be done with Halo, if this is how they treat their loyal fans.

Loyal people don’t abandon when they get angry. How can you claim to be loyal and then leave at the first sign of trouble?

the only reason why it would be invalid is if your region doesn’t match your actual location in which case change your account region

or you are missing one of 25 characters or you are typing in a wrong character

take the code from the email and copy and paste onto xbox.com

if it is multiple lines don’t forget to remove the spaces

The current line on Specialisations is as follows:

> SPECIALIZATION CODES
>
> Specialization codes have been distributed via XBL and E-mail if you have not received them you will have to wait until they are unlocked for everyone else and at this time is currently TBD. For more info please view this post.
>
>
> If you see anyone asking why they haven’t recieved them please feel free to quote the above explanation.

You can read the origin post here.

So effectively, if you read between the lines, it means if it ain’t working for you, you’ll just have to wait til they unlock for everyone, whenever that is… Sorry to disappoint.

A True Xbox Ambassador would know that you can NOT change your account region that is permanent, the only way to change your account region is to make a new account. The Only way you can change regions is you can change your console region but that has nothing to do with your account, just whether or not the console can play certain content. Not being mean, just friendly advice to another ambassador
