Ok so what the hell, I hit level 70, and now I can’t do any more specializations because they havn’t added any more, how am i suppose to level up now? and when are they releasing the new specializations?

You’ll be able to level up when they release the next few for you/You use a code. You’ll get the code in your email when 343 sends it.

How about, don’t be so cocky to a simple answer such as “Oh you will receive the specialization code in such and such time”, the rest of your un valued, cocky input was not necessary much less worth any-ones time.
From the Specialization Bulletin:
> Two Specializations – Wetwork and Pioneer – will be available to all players when the game launches, and <mark>the rest will gradually be made available in the months following launch. We will be keeping a close watch on player participation post-launch and will roll out the additional six Specializations when the player base reaches certain milestones.</mark>
At the least, 343i should release one specialization, if they are monitoring player progressions. More and more players (like myself) are now capped at SR70. I don’t put any stake in the IGN reference because I have not seen anything from 343i explicitly stating there would be this mass email distribution with a code to unlock all the Specializations. ((((Shrugs))))

The problem though, what was that whole thing on the xbox dashboard about “if you play before the 20th of November, unlock all specializations early”?

I think the reason he was being a semi–Yoink- about it is that these threads only appear every twenty minutes, and there are literally three of them on the front page including yours, let alone if you took the couple of minutes to scan back a few pages…
And (yet again answered NUMEROUS times in threads posted ALL the time), the codes will be delivered to you BY December 1st, as in any time between Nov. 21 and Dec. 1.
oh, don’t get me wrong, i’m effing SICK of seeing these threads. i was just trying to be helpful and point out the correct info.

Just because I overlooked something, doesn’t mean I should attract some cocky shroon here just to point out I don’t know something. I was talking about Jl1223 X and how the OP responded by calling him a -Yoink-. The reason he was behaving like that is because if the OP took half a minute to so much as scan the forums, he would have found about 5 threads in the first 3-4 pages all discussing the same thing he just had to make another topic for.
And the point is, people who frequent these forums for something other than solving issues (such as talking about the game) really, really hate it when the forum becomes half of one thread repeated ad infinitum and one half varied threads. As-is, the forum is about half hate, one fourth specialization codes, and one fourth miscellaneous…

Did it ever dawn on anyone to make a GIANT announcement thread to clear all this issue up? Problem solved. Myth Busted.
Except such a thread would be in the back within minutes. I don’t understand why the people looking for answers can’t take so little as one half of a minute of their time to scan through for threads looking like their own. It took me literally 30 seconds and “ctrl+f” with “Specialization” to find five or six threads talking about Specialization codes in four pages of the forums.
Stop trying to blame it on the community for “not making a giant announcement thread” and just accept that if you had taken a modicum of time you could have found essentially a clone of this thread with the answers you were looking for.
i have to agree. since before the cap was hit, there were literally no less than 5 threads on the front page at ALL TIMES about this very subject.
while it has been a MAJOR fumble on 343’s part as far as letting people know what exactly is going on, a little research goes a LONG way.

What and the hell are you talking about??? No one is blaming anything. I don’t know what kind of drugs you are taking but they are working.
ive been sr70 for like a week and since then i have cut back hard on my halo. 343 has taken a once loved game of mine and made it so boring i went and bought bo2 (bo2 is garbage takes no skill) and its still more fun atm!

That gives the impression of placing blame upon the community, in combination with how you seem to be rather defensive and are accusing others of being “cocky” due to the fact that they are annoyed that there are always multiple clones of these threads. A person who was not attempting to place blame would have said something along the lines of “I am sorry I did not take the time to find another one of these ubiquitous threads first, however, thank you for the help you have given me.”

Agreed, 175,000 xp cap, + specialization cap, how is anyone suppose to enjoy this? I mean, you get punished for being a dedicated addict to the game, they say they want it fair, then they go out and make everyone who got limited/console edition be able to level up passed regular players, that makes it even worse.
Yahh… I find myself maybe playing like a couple games here, then maybe a couple games there.
I’m usually not one to care about levels either, but i’m getting nothing done! It really is making me realize how not fun this game actually is. With the redundant playlists with no variables other than maps when you play them… pounds head on desk
