I raked in some double exp and was dishing out some hardcore spartan ops matchmaking getting like 11900 a game. Only 250 exp until next rank and end of specialization, then it just eats 11600 creds and tells me to pick another specialization and did not carryover my exp.
A few other situations of way smaller amounts, but regardless I’m worried this could become a recurring problem.
Is anyone else having their exp eaten in similar ways?
I completed the monthly challenge with 1000exp to go at lvl 49, and none of it carried over.
Every time you finish a specialization the leftover XP gets scrapped. Every time. Reaching level 50 should have shown you that, when you’re getting close just screw around in custom games/forge or do a local spartan ops game so that you don’t waste double XP matches. It’s all you can do.
Yeah why would you think it would carry over at “level cap” when there is no xp to be gained after that level? You should have played a custom which is like a little over 1000xp to level up then played Spartan Ops or completed your challenges.
Well just thinking cause My SR is like 70something and the extra exp would just dump into that.
