Has it been confirmed by 343i/Microsoft that anyone who plays War Games by Nov.20th gets access to the 6 remaining Specializations via an email on Nov.30th? I have seen a couple of the news articles, and seen it mentioned in the forums, but has it been confirmed by 343i?
so far one guy here said he got an email and all of the forums went ape -Yoink- and it spread, i have yet to see anyone else say they got the email. so either it is true and its a offer somewhere or someone is trollin and spreading -Yoink- all around -Yoink!- everyone off
It’s been more than 1 person saying such. It has been confirmed by many that Microsoft has sent e-mails stating what you have written. Play by Nov. 20th and receive a code for the 6 Specializations.
I got the email as well as several people I know. It was from Xbox.
Also, why would 343 confirm this? What would they say? “hey guyz you know that limited edition bonus? yeah we took that away lololol”
Seriously, they’re a new developer that’s already caught flak for some of their changes to the game. I doubt they’ll just up and declare this as a great decision on their part.
So far 343 isn’t off to a good start =/

Wow that is super disappointing…way to go Microsoft, way to mess up the hard work 343i has done to build trust and a good reputation with the community, seems like a lot of people are not happy including myself.
Yeah, I almost cancelled my pre-order LE over it… but didn’t.

I still say hoax. Clearly the alleged email wasn’t sent to everyone because there are still people asking about it. I didn’t receive an email and I’ve been a Live member since the beginning. You would think that with such a high profile game as this, they would want that offer out to as many customers as possible. Even on the Microsoft store site itself there is no mention of this when you try to preorder the game. I think there may be a rude awakening in tomorrow’s update.

I would have to agree…I have 3 live accounts and none of them received this supposed email…my guess is that it is a massive troll…hopefully 343i/ BS Angel will shed some light about this in tomorrows Bulletin
