Ok, so in the UK if you pre-order at GAME or Gamestation (I’m not sure about GameStop in the US) the preorder bonuses for the STANDARD edition are the armour and weapon skin AND early access to 6 specialisations. What I don’t understand is that the six early specialisations is included in the limited edition. So what’s the point in getting it now? As long as you don’t care about getting avatar props etcetera, it’s cheaper to buy the standard edition, get the specialisations, and then buy the War Games pass. I don’t understand 343! Why make one of the features of the limited edition available for everybody if they preorder?!
You are aware the LE comes with a bunch of other stuff right? like the Infinity brifeing packet and tthe FuD director’s cut
Well , here in Finland , the LE costs 100Euros. One map pack costs about 10-15euros and normal copy of Halo 4 costs about 60Euros. So i save some money by buying the LE pack , plus i get some extra stuff with it.
I know but to me the gameplay is more important than the physical stuff that comes with LEs. I was going to get the LE but I don’t really see the point anymore as I can get the map packs and specialisations cheaper if I buy standard. The Infinity briefing packet doesn’t interest me to be honest especially as they haven’t even told us what is actually is!

The briefing packet is a booklet which comes with posters and schematics and whatnot. It’s basically an introduction to the infinity and the Spartan IV’s.
Once they release pictures of the in weapon skins and stuff I’ll see if it’s worth getting because if they’re ugly then I’ll just get the standard.

The skins are called “Prime” if I’m correct. No pictures have been released as of yet.
The LE gives you early access to map packs as well I believe.
Plus you get the Avatar stuff you mentioned and some other stuff as well.
