Agreed; it’s a good sign.
It’s a step in the right direction at least. Ignoring an entire community surrounding an only two year old game is pretty rubbish.

Fix the bugs, update the UI, release Halo 3 anniversary (optional, but could add more incentive), and release as a Games with Gold title. I want this game to be what it was promised when it was announced. Alienating its veteran fanbase is not doing 343 any favors.

Making H3A a DLC, while making the game as a whole even bigger, would be a nice touch and bring some new players. I’m glad, despite the game’s various problems, the game remains playable with a solid community behind it.

I agree. I’ve come back to this game after a brief hiatus and it’s been treating me very well, ESPECIALLY for multiplayer. I went to the midnight release of this game and I remember patiently waiting for the multiplayer to be playable…for months. I kept the faith and my patience has seemingly paid off. The game’s still not QUITE where it needs to be, but it’s a good start.

The game’s various problems is the exact reason I’ve been asking for Halo 3A to not be added as DLC. A complete stand alone remaster could add back in things that MCC is missing.
Yeah it’s good to know that they know MCC still exist.
I hope MCC gets support. I can see myself playing this title for the life of the Xbox One (and potentially even into the next Xbox’s life cycle). Absolutely love these games.
ske7ch is a cool guy. If he’s able to assist in bringing about even just half of what MCC still needs, he’ll have won my respect.
I just hope they don’t hire Shishka.
