As everybody knows by now, anyone who obtains SR152 rank in Halo 5 shall receive a special “gift” in Infinite for their grind. That’s fine, but what about the people like me? The ones who have purchased and played every Halo title since CE launched in 2001. I’d like to see something special for us! I’ve been playing Halo for 19 years now and look forward to playing for many more. I’m glad people found and enjoy Halo whenever they did, but I want to see something for the truly dedicated fans of the series. Does anyone else agree/disagree?

I’d like to see something like this as well. Battlefield used to acknowledge it’s community veterans pretty well.
And while I could grind out the levels for SR152, I’m not sure I really want to. I get it’s suppose to be a grind but jesus… Like 5k xp for a match. That insane when you see the end goal is 50 million. Even with 2XP, it’s still horrid. I can appreciate a grind just as much as the next guy, but I don’t see anyway they could possibly compensate me in a means I’d feel sufficient with how much time I’d have to sink in for the remaining levels.
But what about those of us, like you said, that have spend hundreds on the games over the years and have been there since day one? What about those of us that go out of our way for achievements. My Halo gamerscore is pretty high. I’m pretty sure the only way it could be higher is if I played Spartan Strike and Assault on my phone.
This reminds me of my personal desire to remodel the community and give it a much larger unified platform. Where fidelity for years is rewarded.
But all I see is the abandonment of non-English speaking communities. In addition to abandoning certain applications, etc.
I hope they do something like this. I’ve managed to get every achievement on every xbox Halo except 5 and MCC (maybe Halo Wars 2). I’m confident in saying I’ll never get the killjoy achievement in MCC unfortunately. I’m sure with Infinite, my achievement hunter side will 100% it.
