Has anyone bought the new halo 4 console with the pads??
Do you think that the pads are great or a bit naff (Scottish for rubbish)??
The guy in the shop said oh they light up all blue when you play games and stuff!!
So i was yea that sounds awesome!!!
Mmmm…no blue led, and the led i thought might have been blue, the one under the guide button is just white with a blue plastic colored part around the guide button!!
Why go to all the hassle of building a “Special Edition” that costs a fortune then make it less than so!!

I bought the HALO 4 UNSC game pad, that does have the Blue LED under the Guide button, so awesome in the dark
I have heard others prefer the pad I bought to the pads that came with the console
The guy in the shop was obviously limited lol. Microsoft/343 stated from the day they announced the Halo 4 controllers and console that only the LEDs would be different, not the whole thing lighting up. The guy at the shop needs to learn a bit more about the stuff he sells.

Really? Because mine is white too. This one, that is. They just made the circle around the guide button blue, but it’s still leaking white light into the rest of the controller.
It really should have been orange…
I like the console pads - it does look blue (although I also realised it was just a normal light under blue plastic) but you don’t notice that unless you’re looking carefully.
IMO there should have been 3 different controllers: blue LED for Forerunner, white LED for UNSC and red/orange for Promethean. Forerunner an UNSC would have the design they have now and the Promethean would have an appropriate theme.
