I know theres like alot of talk about this already but im confused as to when we have to play halo 4 ive played it from the 6th since the day it came out to now the 20th and peoples saying you gotta play it from the day it came out till now others say its only today you play can someone clear this up for me ?

I dunno. I thought it was just a rumor…
I bought the LE, so I guess I didn’t put much effort into finding out. Did you check your Spec. tab? Are there not 8 specs?

It was indeed a promotion, not a rumor.
I wish more people would spread the correct info so we wouldn’t have dozens of threads every day about it, but here goes:
The promotion stated that anyone who played the standard edition of Halo 4 by the end of November 20th would receive a code via e-mail to download access to the remaining six specializations between November 20th and November 31st at the very latest.
Since there are hundreds of thousands of people who have met this criteria, I’d think they would just unlock them for people rather than sending out hundreds of thousands of codes through e-mail. Give it a few days and be patient. The info has been accessible for months now, and players who chose not to get the LE will have to stick with that.

Well i know most of the details but with one topic having this than another saying that leaves you confused plus people are saying that you need to play a total of 100 games to meet the req others are saying play one and bam so i dunno whats what anymore

Indeed. Most of it is hear-say, some is just rumor-based or simply baseless, and however Microsoft chooses to address the promotion could be completely different. The world is indeed a confusing place.

What in gods name ever lead you to believe it was a rumor? It was entire promotion (video and all) on Xbox Live before Halo 4 came out.
