The Specialization code is basically a DLC right? And the update allowed DLC sharing correct? So if a friend were to allow me to put a copy of his profile on my 360 would I be allowed to re-download it and use it until my code arrives?

In theory… yes.
Pretty smart suggestion but most likely no just because the dlc is account specific and not xbox specific so even if you download it you wont recieve it on another account but your welcome to try…it is possible to download games from your friends account and play it on your account on your xbox but you need 2 controllers

It would be nice if they had a team go through the forum and double check to make sure everyone is eligible and send the codes out. What is the point of telling us they would do it if in the end they are struggling with it. My email has been the same and I never received it yet. Posted 2 nights ago and some people are saying they receive it in minutes.
