Has anyone that has posted on the “official thread” received their codes yet? Twice I have spoke with xbox support and they assured me that I would receive my code within 72 hours. It’s been well over a week since my first post in the official thread and I have received zero response from xbox or 343.
Love Halo 4 but if I can’t level up anymore it really makes me lose interest in playing. Probably have gained over 250,000 exp since I’ve hit 70SR and am getting tired of wasting my time.
I know the question has been asked plenty of times, but why not just give EVERYONE the extra specializations? Make an update for the game. Increase map pack prices if you have to, but dont penalize people who have been playing since release.
I don’t enjoy COD nearly as much but I think I’m not alone in saying that I’m debating trading in Halo already to purchase Black Ops II because of this annoying issue.
Im in the same boat, there is no reason to play. why should i get accommodations if that bonus exp is worthless to me. Ive tried contacting support 3 times so far to no avail, and im doing so again now. They know nothing about it its 343.
My boyfriend and I have not received them either. I called Xbox Support today and they said that 343 is “supposed” to be sending codes for everyone by the end of this week… We shall see
I posted in that thread, as well as the one on Xbox support forums and have not received one. The overwhelming thought is that all codes have been sent and if you did not receive one, you will not be getting one.
this whole situation is really annoying me… I dont really want to play halo 4 any more untill i can choose another specialization as i feel that its just a huge xp and time waste. If these new specializations are not released soon then i will just hand this game in and get black ops 2
I didn’t get the codes either. It’s frustrating because I qualified for them and get microsoft emails regularly so I don’t get the complication. If it was a random drawing or something I’d be fine with it but the fact they said anybody who played before the 20th would get them, which didn’t happen, it is annoying. Oh well.
I like how they shut down every thread about this that pops up. It’s not shady at all! Why don’t they just make them available to download in the Halo 4 marketplace? At the very least, they should bring the Halo 4 dev team back in to fix this. They at least knew what the Hell they were doing!
Listen man … If you have a friend you trust and they already have the code, so lets say ur stuck at 70 like I was, have ur friend recover your gamertag tell them to pick whatever specialization you wanna do next. Recover it back and boom ! You have a new specialization. You’ll have to do it for each one , but Hey ! So my buddy got his code a few days ago … I told him to recover my gamertag on his Xbox , pick tracker, then I recovered my gamertag on my Xbox and was a tracker 71 !!! Make sure it’s someone you trust obviously ! And that’s how you cheat the system my friend
