So I became an Operator and did it, and now I plan to pick Pathfinder. Do I get to keep my Operator armor I unlocked previously?
Yes you do and you can use any armor you want to use even tough you’re using Stalker or any other specialazation.

Then I don’t see why people freak out that they can’t switch specs once they reach level 130. To me it’s nothing more than a title next to your rank.
Because there are actual perks with each class. I think.
As your question is answered. Here is a tip. Run with Pioneer, it will increase the xp you get to the point of (at least for what I have heard) Mt. Dew 2xp bonus. I didn’t use it at first and for that I am an idiot.
I believe operator is the vehicle one where it raises health and P pistol is beat. No one uses the plasma pistol so yeah but the health thing is great.

The “perks” are just support and tactical upgrades that you get to keep, whether or not you are still using the specific spec.
