As I spawn into scopes, off of cliffs, and inside of level objects with no escape, I’ve been trying to figure out since launch whether Halo 5’s spawns are the worst in the entire series or if they’re just run of the mill bad. I’m pleased to announce that, as of just minutes ago, I found my answer.
So, share your terrible spawns, speculate as to what idiot(s) is/are responsible for managing to have spawns worse than its 15 year old progenitor, and just plain vent about it. Or I suppose you could try to defend the system if you like. You know, if you like being objectively wrong.
I’ve never really had a problem with spawns in Halo 5, unless you count a single occasion when the grav lift in breakout didn’t work (probably due to lag) and I fell to my death. I didn’t realise the spawns were regarded as bad.
I don’t think there’s many games that actually have a perfect spawning system.
I think its just one of those things no one in the industry has figured out how to do right.
I mainly have problems with spawning in swat and ffa.
I think spawns are ok. Not bad as CE in the MCC

Reach had absolutely terrible spawns. there are tons of videos on youtube showing people spawn camping on Reach.

Seriously though I wish they’d stop.
Battlefield 4 did it right spawn on your squad mates or the locations selected. Halo 5 spawned: in the garage/fortress that has no real way of getting out unless u wait or die, ran over, in between three enemies, in the beginning of Warzone Assault outside of the base, outside the map where the softkill is, grenaded instantly, ran a few feet before getting killed, mostly double teamed as I spawn. So yea these spawns suck horribly I thought in CE it was bs getting spawned on top of and instant dying but no Halo 5 just had to top that seen a teammate spawn in a bridge and scratched my head.

I’m having trouble discerning whether or not the second “you’re” is intentional; you don’t seem like the guy to make grammar mistakes.
BTB has the worst spawns… the rest of the games are fine.
Worst spawns of the franchise. I lost count of how many times I’ve respawned in the exact same spot on Pegasus, downrange of the Red tower, to get sniped by the same guy.
When the only defense is trying to cry that “b-b-but Master Chief Collection was more broken”, you know you’ve lost it.

Check our respective spartan companies, fam.
I find any of the Forge made maps have bad spawns (Looking at you Pegasus) you spawn with people directly behind you or a scoped sniper already aimed at your face.
The spawning in arena is trippy sometimes. There have been so many situations where the second I spawn, I “accidentally” get shot and am already on the journey to death again…
How can anyone not have a problem with spawning halfway across apex when you need to “protect your core spartan”.
