There’s a major issue with proximity spawn in this game where players spawn on top of or near players who are actively engaged in fights. Often times dumping players in the middle of a fight while vacant bases that presumably should be riddled with spawns are receiving absolutely zero players. I think this is one of the reasons the gunfights are so muddied up as two people are engaged, another will prox spawn right on top of either player and begin engaging in the fight themselves. This create a really chaotic cirlcle of kill/death/repeat. Add the bad audio mixing and bad motion tracker on top of that and it becomes a cocktail of issues that make the experience somewhat frustrating.
I should not spawn WITHIN IRONSIGHTS OF AN ENEMY IN COMPETITIVE.
Whoever designed this system severely failed to test it against common cases. Spawn flips also happen too much and essentially ruin the flow of gameplay because the area behind you where you spawned 30 seconds ago is now spawning 4 enemies all at once.
