I have been noticing over the past couple of days that I am respawning right in the middle of the opponents. This has happen several times. Has anyone else noticed this?
This has been an issue since day one. Just wait till you get spawn killed 3 times in a row in the same spot
Alternatively, wait until you spawn where an opponent is aiming thier sniper rifle three times in a row. Not quite the same but just as tragic.
Yeah this game might have the worst spawns that I can remember. Trying to play swat but you end up getting some sweaty tryhards that can easily lock down spawns.

Yeah has happened too many times to me. Many times I’ll spawn in between two enemies and get melee’d in the back a second after. And it’s not a case of the enemy locking down the map and spawn trapping, there are some areas that have weighted spawns and you’re more likely to spawn there even with enemies around than you are to spawn in the unweighted area without any enemies. Really frustrating.
You’ll notice this a lot on the map Viking in BTB. You will rarely ever spawn at your own base except for initial spawn. Every respawn is at the middle of the map. or just close to it eve if there are no enemies at your base. It’s incredibly frustrating as you’re constantly running back to your own base after every spawn to pick up a weapon or vehicle and always get sniped in the back of the head.
Also Traffic Jam has the most predictable and unfair spawns I have ever seen. Most games on that map if I rush sniper and look down to enemy spawn I get an overkill right off the bat. Then the enemies keep spawning in my sights or JUST out of it so if they move a centimetre their head appears in my crosshair it’s actually really unfair lol.
Someone forgot to turn LOS on in the spawnpoint settings.
What playlist are you playing?
By now most players will know the spawns on the maps in Arena. Fathom, Rig, Truth, Plaza, Overgrowth, Coliseum, Empire, Eden, Regret, and Mercy all are highly played and a ton of players already know the spawns. LOS is turned on, but if the players face a different direction than you to force you to spawn there. They just need to do a simple 180 degree spin and they’ll have you where they want you. Simple Halo 5 tricks.

Spawns in Halo 5 are pretty bad. SWAT has some atrocious ones where you spawn in only to get headshotted by the dude who just killed you. I recall once having this happen three times in a row. True nightmare fuel.
