That still won’t make a difference, everyone will just resort to throwing plasma grenades in the hopes of sticking an enemy instead of just shooting!

No, stickies are thrown the same distance as frags. It’s interesting though, that during the MLG gameplay at RTX, no one was using stickies much, even though they were offered as an option. It’s safe to say, seeing them in action, that they have probably a very short blast radius.
