Spawn timer too long

Why was the spawn timer changed from 5 seconds to 8 seconds? This takes a lot of flow out of the game. Weapons have a very quick TTK and we also have the longest respawn timer ever now.

It’s always been 8 seconds across the board in all game modes except for FFA which was 6 seconds

That’s not true it has always been 5 seconds. I am talking about slayer not objective

Never seen a spawn timer for 5 seconds in any Halo. Idk what ur talking about.

Go play halo 3 or halo 4 or halo 5. All of them have 5 seconds

It’s either 6 or 8.

If your seeing a 5 that means the 1 second already passed.

There was never a 5 second spawn.

I agree, The spawns are way to long!! In all of my game modes settings in Custom Games I setup the following for a Capture The flag game.

  1. If you were killed by a user you will respawn in 3 Sconds!
  2. If you killed yourself you will respawn in 10 seconds! ( That is the lowest you can set that kinda sucks! )
  3. If you have the flag and die the flag will respawn in 10 seconds if nobody is around!
  4. If you touch the flag it will respawn instantly!!

It’s cause of Sprint+Slide. It’s always cause of Sprint+Slide and Clamber when they change something that worked in the past.

I still think Infinite works with 5 or 6s spawn timer, even with Sprint. But, removing Sprint makes it even better :slight_smile:
