Spawn System

Overall I’m very impressed with Halo 5. The game play is overall very enjoyable.

I am wondering who made the decisions on the spawn system.

Why do i have a 10 second respawn timer to just get shot in the back within .004 seconds of spawning.? I understand that every game now panders to these children with the attention span of a cricket; there has to be action 100% of the time. Fine, then why the hell is there a spawn timer at all? At least half of my lives i spawn getting shot already, or within 1 second.

Why no BR start playlist too?

It’s tough because you can pretty much sprint across the entire map in a matter of seconds, making it to the enemy spawn. You’re bound to spawn in front of random enemies. That’s just the way the game is.

Actually, he’s referencing Warzone, which does have 10 second respawns (bad ones). And no, you cannot sprint across a Warzone map in a matter of seconds.
