Spawn killing needs a penalty. (WZ assault)

Being killed within a short time or distance of your spawn area.

Or if you are standing in an enemy spawn area, kills should count against you.

It should be a boot able offence.
Though more lenient than betrayal.

Betrayal is 2 of the same person.
Spawn killing should be 5 of anyone within 5 minutes or something.

Being spawn trapped (although it sucks) is kind of a product of the genre. Not really a good way around it.
Unfortunately , you really can’t blame the person for it , if an enemy spawns and you don’t shoot them they are going to shoot you. Kind of a no win situation. I know there are those who actively look for these opportunities , but it is hard to penalize ; as it will happen where someone is just playing the game and is in the right place at the wrong time.

Just as an example ; lets say you spawn and an enemy has his back turned walking away , do you attack him? Of course you do. But for all you know , he just watched you spawn , and has chosen not to kill you cheaply. Now he is being shot from behind and is being penalized for not spawn killing you.

That sounds more of an arena situation.

In warzone assault teams have defined spawn areas.
So spawn killing is typically intentional, not luck.

So they should sit at there bases and wait for you to come out of your hole? If I own all the other bases and the enemy has only one place left to spawn , you better believe I am setting up shop where I can pick them off as they exit. This problem is on 343 for designing the Core bases with only one exit.
And if you are watching the base you are about to spawn to and see that friendlies are dying left and right , you should probably spawn somewhere else , if available.

More directed at warzone assault.

Where there are more defined predictable spawns.
And some maps come with spawn killing under 10 seconds of match start.

What they should do is give people the ability to spawn at different locations and give them invincibility for about 3-5 seconds after they spawn, like how Gears of War and many other titles do it.
