So, reading into the brief history given for the two new Spartans introduced in Lone Wolves, I’ve found myself trying to figure out exactly where they come from in the Spartan Operations branch as in are they from the mainline Spartan-IVs or are they Headhunters. The main reason I ask is because, in the recent Canon Fodder blog it states that the Rakshasa armor is needed for, “Headhunter assassinations, deep reconnaissance, information sanitization, and black ops,” making it seem as though the two Spartans are Headhunters, but in the next paragraph is says, “ The recent conflicts have also introduced a new factor: Spartans who find themselves completely cut off from the UNSC, forced to scrounge for ammo, food, and power cells deep behind enemy lines. With luck, they can link up with other survivors, creating ad-hoc packs bound by their Spartan training and indomitable drive to achieve victory in humanity’s darkest hour.”
So, what do you guys think? Do y’all think this is our first in-game representation of Headhunters or just the mainline Spartans again?
