I hope all the normal units in Halo 4, aka marines, are Spartans 4s and they come in different levels, that would be amazing, and make sense for humanities survival. They should come in different ranks and units, with some units having better shielding than the others, different armors and colors. What do you think?
Most likely not buddy, the SPARTAN IV project is billed as the continuation of project ORION whereas volunteers from the best of the best are only accepted and then augmented and so on. It’s a cool idea, but it would detract from the rariety of Spartans as a whole, if everyone was a spartan they would just be marines. I see where your going with the class system and so on, but take into account a lot of the tech that started in the SPARTAN program has made its way out of ONI and into the UNSC proper. Most of what the ODST units use for example was beta tested in the spartan program. Not to mention I feel like what your getting at would be pumping out more disposable Spartans that anything
I would like to see marines, because Spartans need to maintain the aura of being limited and elite, but with that being said, I anticipate Halo 4 being a more lonely story. We have no idea what planet Chief will land on, or its relation to Human or UNSC forces. I would still anticipate they play a pretty vital role, but I am betting we will have to just wait and see.
In my thought I think since cheif is on board to a sheild world, He would receive no helpp at all. I would love to see the arbiter some how find cheif and fight along side him but I doubt that would happen.

It’s already been heavily illuded to that the chief will cross paths with the infinity and the S4’s
Sorry, I didn’t mean all Spartans, I meant like the same height as them, with shielding, but really bad so it’s clear that their separate from Spartans, with different armor and stuff so they could be more numerous then Spartans. Because all forerunner soldiers had armor and shields and were the same superior height, but with in that army, there were Prometheans which had the best armor, shielding and expierience etc. So I would like it to be like that.
