Now im not against the idea of the ODST helmet and chest piece returning to halo 4 but
i wasn’t thinking of why it wouldn’t make sense if it does return.
Now, I was thinking that maybe the ODST helmet hasn’t been seen yet is because
it really doesn’t make sense that a spartan would have a ODST helmet/armor.
Maybe spartans did use the ODST helmets and armor in the books.(idk if they did)
But when you see an odst they are small and not nearly as strong as a spartan.
ODST’s are very weak compared to spartans but I could see an ODST spartan helmet
that is a modified version to suit the look of a spartan.(a newer version)
I personally dont mind the ODST being used in halo 4 but maybe that is why 343i
hasnt shown anything yet because they have helmets that look similar to the odst’s.
(Recruit and I think the Air assault)
Idk im not against ODST armor being used in the game but I think
it looks funny when they are on spartans. Am i the only one who thinks this? Don’t take this
the wrong way because i love the ODST designs.
What do you guys think, i know their are many ODST lovers out there, I just want
to hear your thoughts.
The version of ODST armor seen in the games, fictionally speaking, was based on advances made in the Mjolnir program. In that regard, ODST armor makes sense.
Personally speaking, I loved having what was basically full ODST armor in Halo Reach, and I would love to see it return in future games. The more customization, the better.

see i didnt know that but when i compare an ODST to a spartan i just think it looks funny.
Idk i think since the helmet looks exactly the same as the regular ODST that is what
is throwing me off.
Maybe if they made the ODST helmet look more like spartan helmet then i would think
differently
When I was at PAX playing Halo 4 I believe I saw the ODST helmet in the customization screen though I didn’t bother using it because I wanted to try out some of the new stuff.

all the helmets were shown at pax and the odst wasnt there. you probly are mistaking the
recruit for the odst.
