With every multiplayer screenshot I see, I cant help but think of them being less than human now. Anyone else feeling this?

Imo, no. They look great, given the style is more Sci-fi Fantasy more than previous games.

Maybe that’s the point. Maybe they’ve been retconned into robots…

Really!? looks at the Chief’s armor from CE, then from Halo 2, and then Halo 4’s
To be honest, Chief’s armor from CE looks more like a robot than the new Spartan armor, the new spartan armor looks more like powered armor.

For the longest time I thought Master Chief and our MP characters were robots. I’m talking back in the Halo 1 days before I knew any of the lore. When I saw that they bled when shot, I figured they were just a ‘cybernetic organism’ like the terminator was.

So what I’m trying to say is it doesn’t bother me if they look like robots since in the early days I still loved the game and the Chief despite thinking he was a robot.

I think that, for the most part, they look badass. Sure, some of the helmets look a bit silly, but considering how many options we’ll have to choose from, I’m not worried.

To me it looks like they’ve adopted a bit of the Sangheili style.
