Spartans are highly trained super soldiers. They SHOULD have been able to run by default from Halo CE. Now that they add it as a default AA, people complain. Have you ever stopped to think “Wait a second, I’m playing as a super soldier” ? Why WOULDN’T they be able to run naturally without an AA?
This is supposed to be a game, not real life.
Yes, there is a difference.

You kidding? This is about how people are complaining that Sprint is now a default mechanic built in. I’m saying that it makes sense because, after all, we are playing a super soldiers…
Spartans can jump 70 feet in the air. IMPLEMENT IT IN HALO 4
Spartans can run up to 50 mph. IMPLEMENT IT

you’re right it’s a game. Because it’s a game, it can change.

It would be Tribes then.
You might as well bring Tribes to the xbox if you are going to implement those changes.
They’ve always been able to “run”, now they can sprint too… Yeah… I couldn’t resist :s

They were going to, then Ascend went F2P.
OT: Spartans should be nimble in every direction, not just when they are charging forward. Why do you have to sprint when you can walk that fast in the first place?

Heh. It’s funny because they are … or were, apparently.
I think that we should just wait and see how our game play will change and decide if it is an improvement, if not then we complain after the game is made.
Don’t need sprint if the default movement is fast.
Gameplay and level of fun =/= Realism
I support Sprint as a default ability, but just sayin’.
> Don’t need sprint if the default movement is fast.
They only put in sprint because of all the Halo haters saying “OMG you can’t even sprint in this game. This sucks!” Honestly it changes nothing so long as everyone has it. People say “Well noobs will just sprint away from you when they are losing!” News flash! People run away without sprint! Watch an MLG game. People run when they don’t want to die whether they can sprint or not. It’s simple, just run back after them.
These losers just don’t want sprint because it’s different!
Sprint changes nothing!
It only lets you get to the action faster, which speeds up gameplay. Isn’t that what you “competitive” players want anyway? BTW, I’m nowhere near a casual gamer. I’m just open to change.
hes right
I dont see why people waited for the news to complain from the beginning 343 said
“Were going to make this game follow lore to the key”
and guess what
In every last book and comic we see and hear about Spartans running climbing and even using cover.
I mean really
look at the lore and bam
you know what 343 are thinking.

So if they added tactical nukes as a ten kill streak it would be okay, just in the name of change?

Taking comments out of context, nice.
