If any of you guys know me you would know how pissed off I was to learn that that the elites were pretty much nameless and faceless in the campaign.But I must admit I was impressed with how they introduced jul’mdama and Hasley.
While I still hate the fact that I have to have gold membership to play spartan ops by myself , this still makes me a bit hopefull for 343i and the rest of the reclaimer trilogy.
Everybody loves episode 3, including me!

haven’t played it yet but glad to know that a book character is coming in to the campaign. also is having gold that big a deal? you still need it to play multiplayer anyways so why gripe about it?
haven’t played episode 3 yet, but i feel like spartan ops(so far) has been a complete failure. The weekly videos are great, but i feel like the missions are totally disconnected from the videos. I am also in complete shock that people at 343i thought this was suitable replacement for firefight. what a joke.

Its probably cause Im more of an off-line gamerand my internet connectivity isnt the most stable or reliable.
2)I cant really afford to buy both me and me little brother gold membership for a year .
3)Plus Bungie never really forced/hid content online with firefight it was always an option or a plus to play with people oline but you could still play by yourself or splitscreen without signing into live.
4) Given the length of the campaign I would have thought the first season would have been available to both silver and gold members
I’m loving Spartan Ops and I’ve not played episode two yet, so I’m looking forward to it. It’s much better than the campaign, in my opinion.

This episodes’ definately peeked my interest more than the campaign ever did I’ll tell you that.

This is probably one of the problems I had with the campaign as well.This is probably due to the lack of variation between gameplay.Once you’ve fought the knights,crwalers and watchers you pretty much have noone else to fight with.There is only so much prometheans and covenent you can fight against before you get bored.At least in firefight you could modify your enemys’ squads and atytributes ,thereby increasing the bvariety of encounters.
The weapons are always the same. Once you’ve played spartan ops , youve played myltiplayer.Once you’ve played multiplayer you’ve pretty much played campaign.
There’s no distiction between armour abilitties or weapons so you tend to get bored more quickly.
Played all the missions of episode 3 solo legendary (like a boss) it was hard but it was so fun and epic to face ten tonnes of covenant and kick so much covenant from heaven to hell XD
Indeed, it looks like Spartan Ops is starting to hit its stride.
I still disagree with it being Gold exclusive though.
Episode 3 is the best Episode to date, not only because of seeing more of Jul Mdama and Halsey but the Chapters are amazing this time around, Chapter 3 specifically.
I loved it. Best one yet.
