In your opinion which is better ? A spartan or an ODST (in general battle proeficency).

In appearance, ODST’s are better.
ODSTS wish they were Spartans. Come on, I mean everyone knows spartans are better, There’s no arguing against it.
John killed two ODST’s and left an other two severely injured when he was only 14. Since then, the Spartan’s are even more deadly, espicially with their battle experience and their Mjolnir Armor. Spartan’s could crush ODST’s.
One moment, I’m not talking about their equipment and technology (armors and weapons).
I’m talking about their experience and proeficency in battle, ODSTS are all veterans of special forces of UNSC.
And also, ODST’s armors are also part of the spartan project.
Spartans are way better than ODSTs. John killed full-grown ODSTs when he was 14.
But… Taliking about armors, spartans can wear the ODST’s armor, right? Because you can wear it in Halo 3 and Reach…

I think that might be just MJOLNIR helmet made to look like an ODST helmet.

Spartans. This is one reason to back it up.
ODST’s can’t wear Mjolnir Armor (Spartan Armor).
Only Spartan’s who have recieved special augmentations that dramatically increase their strength and reflexes can operate the armor - any other person would be crushed from the inside. Even the slightest move could brake a normal marine’s bones. ODST Armor is NOT Mjolnir Armor - It does not have shields and does not require augmentations to wear.
However, varients of the ODST Armor are also available in Mjolnir Armor.

ODST armor and tech is not as advanced for the specialized trained Spartans but i don’t see why they can’t. Im not not a specialist in this but maybe the link below can help. It does state that ODST armor can hold data chips like spartans but not ones with Ai’s in them.

Well everyone has gave you reasons already and Im sorry to say, I agree with everyone. ODST’s have nothing on Spartans. They WERE the best until John turned a couple of ODST’s to mush by accident when he was only 14. Thats before his training was complete and without MJOILNIR… If current John wen up agains a squad of ODST’s, my money is still on him.

no,odst armor is not part of the spartans division. their armor is significantly less. if they ar the same as you say,why they die so much faster
