Spartan vs Elite gametype

I don’t want invasion and invasion slayer to be the only gametypes to allow both species to fight each other. I was thinking a Big team battle with elites and spartans. Capture the flag or assualt with both species

Yes please. More variety.

The only bad thing would be the balance, sure, we all know elites are faster, stronger and much bigger than the spartans, but their weapons totally suck, So there must be a way to balance the things without having to give them human weapons…

That’s how they balanced the Elites; by making most Covenant weapons inferior to the humans. Well the Plasma Pistol is really strong though and once you get over the fact that the NR has a 2x (why?) and longer kill times, its deadly in the right hands.

Now for the Banshee, Wraith, and Revenant? Incredibly strong vehicles so they have some things going for them.

I do agree that Invasion shouldn’t be the only type. If you remember back in the Beta, there was a 2 V 2 playlist called Network Test #1. Two Elites and Two Spartans (the latter defended the generator). While this was an awesome gametype, it gave birth to FF versus and butchered the concept by including the AI and unfair stat modifiers to the Spartans (they were stronger while Elite had default settings and AI was made incredibly weak).

If you’ve played the FF versus in the grab bag playlist, this should be familiar to at least one of you.

Skip the middle man and just give everyone the same weapons. The bigger hitboxes already offset any other strengths they might have. Or at least DMR/AR and NR/PR.
