Yep. Does anyone know of maybe a future game company coming out that will create amazing games like the trilogy was? 343 is doing their own thing and creating kind of a call of duty, battlefield, crysis type game. I’m not into all that nonsense, I prefer a simple, incredible, teamwork and skill based game.
Writing off Halo 4 before it even gets released and with little info on it’s current state.
Yep, you’re a true fan.

Last time I checked 343i was making a Halo game.
Yea…Um…Making these accusations with the game not even completed or released just makes you look like a butthurt bit-…well yea

Uhhh I saw what bungie did to reach and I have seen enough gameplay and got enough info to know this game is going to be reach 2. How can you not see that? Give it up…or keep wasting money because they love your money.

No.
Firstly, it’s “Forerunner Vision”, and we don’t even know how it works. We know, quite literally, nothing about it, save for that it’s an x-ray type ability. What does it let us see? How far away? What’s the cooldown?
We still don’t know. If you’re willing to write off the series for one change (that you don’t even understand yet), then I say good riddance. I don’t expect people to blindly follow 343i because of the Halo name, but I do expect “fans” to at least give them a chance to prove themselves.

This isn’t Bungie. Do not compare Bungie to 343i because they’re not the same.
I’ve seen the gameplay, it looks like a solid Halo game to me.
tell you what, if this game sucks I won’t buy Halo 5. But I don’t know how well 343i can make a Halo game so it would be unfair to call them failures without even giving them a chance.
You, sir, are a fool.
I posted this as my Opening Post in my topic; Call of Spartans: Infinity Warfare for people to read and now I post it here for you to read because of your ignorance.
> So, I know this title will bring about the bashing and defending sides of the community, and I did it for just that reason, to catch the eye of both sides. Why may you ask?
>
> I have one central reason and it’s the reason I made the title the way I did: Everyone relating all these little details to CoD.

> Seriously…I’m sick and tired of that, I’m sick and tired of this Call of Duty this, and Call of Duty that. As I pointed out in earlier posts in other threads on this same forum, and as I will point out even now…just because Call of Duty has military themed Yoink! in it, doesn’t mean they created it.
>
> Special Operations (Spec. Ops) is a term for mission’s that are on the down low within a military in the middle of a War or even during down time after and before War (Prime Example: SEAL Team 6 and their supposed take down of Osama -Yoink!-)

> It’s only right that the Office of Naval Intelligence(O.N.I), the masters of the Spartan Program itself and the creators of the UNSC Infinity, as well as the candle holders for all things black listed, special operations, intelligence, etc. would set up Operations that only Spartan’s can pull off that not even the specially trained operators known as the Orbital Drop Shock Troopers or O.D.S.T. can handle.

>
> Primary Weapon, Secondary Weapon, Grenade Type, Armor Ability - Excuse me if I’m wrong on this (or at least in the case of the first 3) but didn’t Halo have all this in the first place? I don’t see the problem here. Besides that, the modification slot: The Armor has to do SOMETHING rather than just look pretty, same can be said for Weapon Mods, just cause it looks cool doesn’t mean you wouldn’t upgrade it with some extra bell’s and whistles to make it not only look better but can conform to a more tactical or deadly approach with said weapon.
>
> Forerunner Vision:
> So, even though we had night vision with the ODST’s in Halo 3: ODST that also went and outlined the Enemy in red, all while using the visor mind you, you find this new Forerunner Vision a problem? Honestly I just see it working a lot like the ODST Visor did, so really, there’s no change in my eyes unless I can see it first hand and experience it.
>
> And that’s the key point I think most central fan’s and defender’s are trying to stress; Experience it before you judge it just from an article written by a gaming magazine and not stated in 343’s own words and shown by 343 themselves. Hell even Frankie stated in one comment back a while ago, and I qoute:

> People are immediately lumping this to an equivalent of CoD, and I’m sick of it, but to be fair on the same side, CoD isn’t the first game to use an RC Helicopter able to mark enemies on a map and so on. In fact, the first time I saw one of those, it was in Homefront, and that came before MW3.
>
> Honestly, stop lumping Halo with CoD. If anything CoD, Halo, and Battlefield are all copying Quake since Quake is one of the original roots of FPS genre gaming.

>

> It’s not CoD, if anything you should be saying ‘Hey look, weapon attachments! Their taking idea’s from our modern day weaponry and military! Awesome!!’ (Case in point: the beloved Battle Rifle was based off the actual, modern day assault rifle known as the FAMAS)
>
> In reality, stop lumping Halo with CoD. Halo is it’s own animal, no matter what they use for innovation.

> It’s Super Soldiers with bad–Yoink!- Assassinations that can Jet-Pack to another surface and blow away enemies with Spartan Lasers and then pick up a glowing Energy Sword and run through the fools that stand in your way and then Hologram distract them before using a Plasma Grenade to blow them to hell.
>
> One thing I don’t understand is why people haven’t made an uproar about T-bagging? That CAME from Halo, and there can be this big debate about how it did and didn’t but in reality, the reason it came from Halo is because when our Spartan’s crouched on the dead bodies, the crouch was fast and the bodies jumped a bit, making it a hilarious spectacle as well as an ‘in your face’ moment.

Please for the love of all the all that is round…You have seen enough gameplay? I’m sorry, where are you getting all of these game play videos? I am only aware of the snippets that have been released that amount to…oh…I don’t know, 3 MINUTES of gameplay.
And at least keep up with the information flow, staff from 343 have addressed many of what others have regarded as issues. And don’t judge a game when you have only seen a grand total of 3 minutes of game play and have no idea how the ideas and mechanics of the game will work.
Key Word=Patience.
Get ready for crysis and call of duty mixed

Same for me, I like thinking ahead.

Don’t like what Halo has become? The sign out button is at the top-right of the screen. Use it and never return.
Most of you are reach fanboys because you couldn’t hang with the realness and skill it took with halo trilogy? YES!

This, ladies and gentlemen, is how you know the other party has realized how wrong they are. When they need to resort to personal attacks based on zero evidence, because their argument just can’t be factually backed up. It’s a shame that most people can’t just sack up and admit that they were wrong; I’d have infinitely more respect for you, had you done that. It shows courage, and an open mind.
All you’ve shown me, is a bigoted, narrow minded, elitist.

The way you guys keep using the same exact argument multiple times in the exact same thread, it’s hilarious.
I’m actually laughing right now. It’s even funnier when you find out that the ‘time machine’ argument has little to no merit to it!
> Most of you are reach fanboys because you couldn’t hang with the realness and skill it took with halo trilogy? YES!
I played all previous Halo games and I loved them all. Reach sucked.
Your argument is invalid.
Cry more please, you filthy troll.
