I was skeptical about how effective AI teammates would be in this game, considering that AI was never Halo’s strong point (just look at Noble team in Reach). I’ve played through the whole campaign and I think that 343’s ‘3 musketeers’ are all idiots. They’ll let enemies walk right by them, miss shots at point blank, hell, they won’t even distract hunters and other enemies that need to be attacked from behind. So I pretended that I was still fighting by myself, like other Halo games.
What do you all think about the Spartan’s AI?

As far as AI, they can be really bad. For example, Linda is supposed to be the best damn sniper ever. When I play Blue team, I feel like she should be snipe-stealin’ all the kills (and I would be okay with that). But what really makes them bad, and I noticed this in harder difficulties in co-op, they do not respond well to reviving someone. I’ve had Vale sit next to me as I’m dying, screaming for a revive, and she’ll wait until literally the last split second to revive me. Sometimes she just didn’t revive me.
I think they are decent. They are not horrible but it will always end that I do most of the work for them.
Some problems I’ve had are team mates not following instructional commands and not using the weapons I tell them to pick up.
Told Kelly to pick up an Incineration cannon (which to credit her, she did) but then immediately used her shotgun the rest of the time. Didn’t even use the cannon once…
