Spartan Strike Windows PC: Can't Exit Drop Pod

I can play the tutorial mission fine, but when I try to play the first mission, it wont let me exit the drop pod. Im on a Window 8.1 PC.

Spartan Strike has always been fairly buggy for me, I play the Windows Store version on Windows 10.

I always had to exit the game after every single mission, then load it again, and then I had no issues.
