Spartan Strike - Repeated Crashing in Mission D-6

Hello,

I’ve been encountering an issue with my copy of Spartan Strike that causes it to crash at various points in gameplay; specifically under two circumstances.

It crashes every time I play more than one mission in a continuous play session (at the end of the second mission I would play, even though it still uploads all data for scores and gold medals to waypoint w/o recording in-game). I found a way around the first one by having to close the application entirely after every mission completed, or in the case with hunting down the Assault Ops - restarting/aborting the mission before it completes so that it doesn’t register for a second attempt at mission completion in one session. It still saves all data fine up to that point.

The second instance of crashing is the more problematic one. Every time I complete the specific level of D-6, it performs the same as the previous crash cases - any achievements that are relevant are awarded, and scores and medals are uploaded to Waypoint. However, it does not matter if it is the first mission I attempt completion for in a play session - it always crashes upon completion of this level. I could play and restart/abort mission to grind out the Assault Ops for this mission, and they’re still recorded. But like every previous crash case - it crashes after the mission complete screen, and just before showing any score calculation/cutscene.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled numerous times, played with touch screen and controller, and changed the way I complete the mission with weapons and armor abilities and skulls numerous times. What else can I do to remedy this, or can 343 somehow credit this mission to my copy remotely so I can move on to the missions E, and complete the game?

My issue is still ongoing, and haven’t heard back regarding any possible solutions? I’m thinking maybe if I download it to another computer, it might work (may just be an incompatibility with my system, for some reason).

I got past this issue, but I’m not sure it’s a replicable solution. I didn’t buy any support, weapons, armor abilities, or add on any skulls. I don’t know how many times I had tried in vain to just push through this level, but maybe it was having to do with the sheer volume of attempts. When prompted to touch all 3 buttons before being allowed to insert the conduit, I made sure to kill a lot of Prometheans. upon the final prompt, I stuck around for a while again until it seemed like I had killed all enemies that would spawn. Not sure if there is ever a real end to them, but when the map was clear I immediately placed the conduit. The game slowed at the Mission Complete screen like it usually did before crashing/closing out, but instead finally made it to the score screen for all of two seconds, and THEN crashed/closed out. But because I got to the score calculation screen, the save filed registered my completion of D-6 and I was able to move onto Operation E, and complete the Windows version of the game.

That said, It won’t let me watch the post-Operation D cutscene because of how/when the game crashed, so the file must have some mix and match as far as checks for my having completed that mission. I didn’t try again to see if it would register now since I wanted to push to finish this game. Also, the in-game record of my medals showed Silver for E-2 and tried a few times to do it over to get the gold. Waypoint registered the gold and gave me the achievement, but I realized E-2 was now bugged and I was stuck facing the same issue as with D-6. But now that I have the achievements, I don’t really care to actively try anymore.

I don’t plan on updating this thread in the future since my issue was “resolved” (I just got lucky). If I do manage to properly complete E-2 again, I still might not update though, since I probably won’t have any idea of what to do there either.

I am experiencing this exact same issue as well, and cannot advance to Operation E at all. Please help!
