Ok so there’s not a lot in this game that I want to complain about. I actually love this game. Other than the obvious complaints that the community has already talked about numerous times, gameplay wise, not much bothers me. Most except how vehicles interact with infantry.
I have a problem with two things. Sensitivity against friendly vehicles and the near Master Chief levels of invincibility players have when boarding enemy vehicles.
I mean just one of my last matches on warzone, I hopped on to the back of an enemy scorpion and got blasted by both the scorpion shooting the wall and an enemy who had “The Answer” (and I know from experience and being on the other side of the barrel that this gun tears through spartans like an Alaskan bull worm through pretty much every piece of private property down in the deep blue abyss) and I still had enough time to plant the grenade and jump off almost unfazed. Honestly I would have been fine not getting that kill considering what I was up against and in any other halo game, my boarding action would have been short lived. We need to reduce the amount of damage resistance when boarding vehicles at least by a 25% or something. (I dont know how much a 25% difference will be to much or not enough but I will be gee willikered if it stays this way)
And In the case of friendly vehicle damage, I’ve probably died more times by a careless teammate in a ghost or scout warthog running me over. I mean, my most recent and most extreme case was when a friend and I was cruising all chill in a warthog and a friendly scout warthog turned and hit us head on and I managed to somehow die while on the turret. That or the hundreds of cases when a teammate gets a ghost in an armory and starts to act aloof and splatters me.
Bottom line, I dont know how to fix this but I think a decrease in damage resistance for vehicle boarding and an increase in resistance against friendly vehicles.
