I like the idea of having an over all Spartan Rank to go along side with the skill ranks, but I really don’t notice it in Halo 5.
So I suggest this.
Make SR go along with each playlist like Skill ranks do. For example. In Slayer playlist I can be SR-5, but in Breakout I am SR-10. This also should be shown on the lobby leaderboard right along side your skill rank. It’s like a quick experience gauge of players for those playlist.
Second thing, change the SR-Ranks to a more military style of ranking up. Private, sergeant, captain, Warrant Officer, admiral, etc… These were much more fun to see in past games.
Lastly, you can make certain customizations only unlockable by getting certain ranks in each playlist. Like if you wanted to unlock Aviator armor set you would have to get to Captain rank in Team Objective.
This is just an idea, and would welcome anyone wanting to expand upon it.
