Ep. 5 left us with a cliff hangar. I got up at 4:30 this morning waiting for the new episode to come out. At 5:30 I see old chapters in the playlist and am like “My spartan ops broke”. Then I see a bunch of others in the playlist. I come here and see the season has a PART TWO? Each season has 10 episodes, now they are trying to cut a season in half to make it seem like 2 seasons, and spend less work working on another season. Unless, they are doing this to keep us busy while they are working on Season 2. Either way, I am tired and now have to wait a month for the next episode.
Well, The Walking Dead took a mid season brake.
I think they do this to let most people spend time with their family during the festivities, since they also most likely will do it.
I think it’s better to take a break than to plow through all of it during christmas, I get more time to do it properly later on.
It’s not uncommon for midseason breaks to anything, especially at this time of the year. Besides, there are much bigger problems with the handling of Spartan Ops.

Team members destroying your vehicles are a much worse problem. I’d rather my team afk.

It is the holiday season. A lot of companies take a break in late December through early January. 343’s staff consists primarily of real live human beings (and the occasional AI that appears to have issues with recursion). After a long development phase, I’m sure they could use some time off to spend with their real life families. Late season TV shows take a break, schools take breaks, why can’t 343?
Rinky also poses a valid point, it is frustrating to have your vehicles blown up because some kid didn’t get to it first.
