Is Halo 5 in anyway going to continue Spartan Ops from Halo 4? I doubt there has been any word on this so far but I really would like to see some continuation of it in the future. When it was announced they mentioned seasons but they only ever released the one. I know it wasn’t well received but I sure enjoyed that side story and SPOILER ALERT… leading up to Halo 5 how Dr. Halsey got captured by Jul 'Mdama and the fact that he was the main antagonist in Spartan Ops.
They continued Spartan Ops through the Halo: Escalation comic series. As for a season 2, I highly doubt it. Though I wish they would, people just didn’t like it.

Yeah still waiting for my copy of Escalation Volume 3 since I hate to buy individual comics. Still we can always hold out hope for a season 2

For good reason. The gameplay was repetitive and the characters were staler than dry crackers.

Come on man, that’s a little harsh, it follows the generic shooter formula of going point to point, killing all the enemies in one area and activating consoles, the additional story and cut scenes were the better part of it IMO

The only good thing that came from it was the Infinity levels during the invasion chapter. But everything else was rinse and repeat. And it ended raising a ton more questions than it solved.

Yeah those missions on Infinity were fun, and hopefully more of those questions will be answered in one capacity or another in Halo 5. Heard some have been answered in Escalation
I’d love an Arbiter Ops
