Which Spartan Ops mission gives the most XP this week?
Anyone? anyone know anything? Im lvl 70 so it wont tell me

Sitting in a lobby waiting to see which map to play with my friend since he has double XP active , and im level 70 so i cant check to see which one

Lol, either chapter 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5. I prefer you do them all just to make sure.
I believe 10 minutes in any mission gets you the 5950 xp or whatever. So answer: Depends on the duration of the match.

It’s dependant on mission time. And or kills you get.
Honestly? I’ve gotten EXACTLY the same amount of XP for every mission, 2966. Its like how in Reach you would always top out at a certain amount, but since there isn’t a “victory” bonus, I’ve just been getting the same 2966 XP for every mission at my current rank, whether I end with zero deaths or twenty.

Last level gives 7k with fast track. Grab the rockets, shouldn’t take any more than 10 mins

I waited 30 minutes, after bumping and changing titles to get bad answers.
30 minutes sitting in Lobby, wasting time waiting for an answer.
Its hard to have this forum be productive or helpful.
I will avoid asking much of the forum in the future.
Go to last level.
Get rockets
Destroy first drop ship.
As long as you have 8 plus kills then AFK.
After the game finishes, profit.
Rinse and repeat.
I dont think you can get past 5950 xp from spartan ops…I did a live math once and everyone quit but me, got 110 kills 3 deaths and still got 5950xp.

If you have completed pioneer and have fast-track you get 7100+ EXP.
They seem to give roughly the same every time provided you play on Heroic. What gets you the major XP is making commendations so have a look at those and play early levels if you need to kill Covenant and late levels for Prometheans.
It has to be said though, after 3 minutes of waiting you could have probably done all 5 given that you’d allowed yourself 30 minutes to wait on this forum.
This honestly just reminds me of how much of a fail the experience ranking system is. It only serves one purpose: to make all the terrible players feel good about themselves.
You earn XP based on the number of minutes you play. Now to stop people afking all night, you stop earning XP after 10 minutes. If you select the mission then you get the same XP per minute regardless of chapter, difficulty, number of kills, number of deaths, number of players,. If you play one of the current chapters using matchmaking, the XP per minute is based on the number of players at the start, even if they quit before it has loaded.
Total XP for a 10 minute game:
- If you select the mission then the chapter = 2966
- Matchmaking with 2 players (normal) = 4100
- Matchmaking with 3 or 4 players (heroic) = 5950

Well damn, looks like I don’t have much reason to continue playing Spartan Ops after all.
Time based XP, what a horrible idea. It should be based on player performance. That’d encourage me to bide the time instead of regressing into naive running and gunning attempts.
