Spartan Ops will be great.
Many co-op modes today involve generic missions, impersonal characters, waves of enemies, and bogus objectives that never seem to really connect with the main story of the game.
Halo 4 Spartan Ops is going to have unique missions every week along with a story that will hopefully be compelling and these missions once downloaded will stay on our consoles, perhaps for a single playthrough with some buddies. And since they are adding more customization options when it comes to weapons and armor, your Spartan will feel even more like your own unique character in the Halo universe.
I don’t even think that was worth a response
I’m a big fan of ME3, but even I know: he’s kinda right. Unique multiplayer co-op missions beats repeat a wave defense anyday.
I agree. At first, I was like “no firefight, well, I’m mad,” but I’m growing on the spartan ops idea.
Why would people that like ME3 play Halo 4? Because f**k logic.

they are both sci-fi

Because some people like myself play more than just FPS and actually play most of the genre available on market as long as the game is good*

So? Does that mean that everyone who plays Halo likes Star Wars too? Nope lol.

Still doesn’t mean ME3 will get wrecked by Halo 4, because people that like ME will play ME and Halo fans’ll play Halo. There are people who play both but the OP doesn’t make any sense.

Sure he doesn’t make sense. But seriously ME3 multiplayer will probably be dead by Halo 4 release except if they can pump new dlc each 1-2 month.

Halo 3 still has people on it, so does CoD 4. Because new games are released it doesn’t mean the old ones are crowded out. x)
im comparing the game’s co-op modes, and ME3’s is really really dry.
Halo 4’s Spartan Ops look to be more promising in Firefight, which was similar to ME3’s multiplayer and was also boring after a while.
Well that says something if your are not going to at least pin up Halo 4 multiplayer against ME3 multiplayer. That would make more sense.
So u already played spartan ops? wooow
ME3 MP was destroyed when they made it essential to get the “shepard lives” cutscene
may Bioware reap what they have sown

No it doesn’t. ME3 doesn’t have any sort of versus modes.
Im comparing the co-op modes.

Yeah that extended cut stuff better be worth it. I swear if they add in purple…
I am a huge Mass Effect Fan and Halo fan, love me them sci-fi games. But, you can’t compare Mass Effect and Halo just because they’re sci-fi. Halo is a competitive FPS, while Mass Effect is a Third person shooter RPG. They’re completely different. Just because they both have space ships, doesn’t mean they’re alike. Besides, the Mass Effect universe has far more complex technology, but that is kind of irrelevant.
Mass Effect isn’t suppost to be a multiplayer kind of game like Call of Duty, Halo, and Battlefield. It is suppost a game with an amazing single player. God knows why Bioware added the multiplayed, but at least it was a fun little activity to do with friends. Mass Effect’s combat goes more along the lines of squad-based combat. So the multiplayer has to be co-op.
In my opinion on what I like most, Halo has a far superior multiplayer, no question, but Mass Effect’s single player is way better and far more deeper, you can’t really help that since it’s an RPG.
I love Mass Effect but seriously Mass Effect never wanted to be a huge multiplayer game… so where’s the point?

nah that would break their artistic integrity
