Will have to test ‘retail’ at home tonight, as we have our test environments separate from the real world, and it works in our test world. That said, has your friend recently installed any firewall/DNS/protective software recently, such as Norton DNS or Kapersky Internet Security, etc? We are finding that a number of apps that have ‘parental control’ features simply block our video servers as our videos tend to get blocked for violence.
I will still check at home though!

I tested it out a bit, told him to do so too and it seems to be episode 6 that doesn’t work on the halo channel.

I am having this issue too. FIrst 5 episodes played fine but haven’t been able to access episode 6. Any progress with this?
Under investigation (Ok, it has been filed and turned over to the content team to fix the issue) I don’t have an ETA, but they are aware and I am sure it will get sorted!
… And fixed. Should be working for everyone now (Or in the next few minutes as it propagates to all the servers) I just verified their fix worked from my desk, and so far it is playing video.
If you guys find other videos, just let me know and I will do the same for those!
This is happening to me. In MCC, Spartan Ops, hit “Y” to Watch Episodes, selected Episode 1 (tried all of them now), hit “A”. Screen shows the Halo Channel logo, then black screen with the “circle” waiting timer, then error message “THAT’S NOT RIGHT. Sorry about that. The content you have selected can’t be played at this time.”
