yeah, i want to know the story that Spartan ops gives us, but i have no motivation to actually play SP ops, considering as it looks like none of the levels are fully vehicle oriented (which is all i care about)
and also because i hear too many people saying that they get crappy teammates, either AFC’s or Traitors so i really don’t want to waste my time
so could someone give me the rundown in a nutshell please?
Their is a Forerunner device on Infinity and Halsey is working on while she communicates with an Elite named Jul Mdama who is trying to set the librarian free with the help of a captured scientist. Gabriel Thorne who is a Spartan 4 has been captured by the Covies and thats where its been left off.
You press a lot of buttons and enemies spawn with repetitive dialogue thrown in for good measure. This is the in game story mind you.
The CG cutscenes introduce Fireteam Majestic; A five Spartan Team lead by Paul Demarco. Under his command is Grant (the only female on the team), Hoya (Emile type character that believes shotguns can snipe), Madison (he haz Reconz), and Gabriel Thorne wants to be a Spartan II.
The story also revolves around the planet Requiem, which players visited with the Master Chief six months ago. The UNSC Infinity and fleet of ships returned to Requiem to defeat the Covenant Remnant and any renaming Promethean forces to secure the planet.
A group of generic Spartan IVs called Fireteam Crimson bring an artifact aboard the Infinity. It messed with ship’s systems, and transports Doctor Henry Glassman into the hands of an Elite named Jul Madma. Madama is the leader of this new Covenant and is known as The Didacts Hand. His goal is to speak with the Librarian in order to gain Forerunner secrets and weapons to crush the UNSC.
It gets crazier after that but i am sure someone can fill you in.

Who in their right mind can stomach such horrific vehicle combat?!
I’m glad it’s mostly on foot combat but I wouldn’t mind some levels with vehicles (fighting the Prometheans with a Hog on Valhalla was such a pleasant change from the previous missions involving Hunters…).
