Spartan Ops should have...

Drop pods. Like in ODST at the start. Except without passing out for six hours. I just think it would be epic to get in a drop pod and drop from the infinity (if it gets repaired and takes off again) or something else. And if we get drop pods then it should be like you get in, it closes around you, you get launched and you can kind of look around and see your buddies dropping in around you too. And maybe when you hit the ground the door pops off and you jump out with your weapon and fight from behind the enemy lines in heavy promethean/covenant territory and you wipe 'em out. I don’t know. But in my opinion, drop pods would just make Spartan Ops feel just that much more epic.

It’d be too much work for 343i to make happen…

No, it would be cool though. Maybe they’ll implement it in Season 2 if we request it enough.

I don’t think Drop Pods are necessary, because I think that the MJOLNIR GEN 2 allows the Spartans to drop down onto a planet’s surface without a pod, and they use the thruster packs on their backs to slow their descent.

Well I don’t see why not, They are supposed to be able to tweak it like they can a campaign. Though why Drop Pods can’t seem to be added to FORGE seems to be a glaring oversight.

I said the same thing for Firefight.

I’d much rather be dropped in by pelican like on the start Silent Cartographer, during a big shoot out, then it pans out to see all Spartan(s) in the back jump out. after that the player takes control.

I’m not saying it would be necessary but I think it would be a cool feature. Also the idea of a pelican drop in sounds quite cool too. Even better if you could shoot whilst you were in it. Maybe even banshees could attack and you can shoot them down with a weapon of some kind

That is kind of what I meant because I’m sure they’ve already made season one

i posted this idea while back, no one replied…

If not, they could add Ordance Drops given out by Pelicans. Like:

50 kills without dying= Special weapon.
100 kills without dying= A marine Squad to help.
150 kills without dying= 3 ODST’s to help.
200 kills without dying= A vehicle to help.
500 kills without dying= Aerial Bombardment by Vulture and 2 Hornets to help out.

That would be sick. It would be better if you could also choose your landing point? I remember you could parachute into an mp game in MoH: Airborne, and it was actually fun to respawn.

This sounds good but I’m fairly sure their aren’t hornets in halo 4 (shame) and it might take out from the experience. Spartan Ops is like another campaign. Sounds a bit like mw3 survival too.

Pretty much this. It was epic.

Killstreaks would be good when dealing at higher difficult. Of course. At Spartan Ops there’s way more enemies that in the campaign to deal with 4 players at once. Imagine that at Legendary difficult with all skulls on.

OH DANG! That would be amazing.

They definitely need to have a mission with them.

I’d like to see a crashed ship gameplay, go check out a missing squad, get shot down, fall out, and regroup with squad with a crapload of enemys around it, find your squad and defend til back up.

They should have another mission open up with one player flying a pelican under heavy fire starting out somewhere in the stratosphere. Once in the troposphere, the other players are firing out the back with one on a turret. Then the first player lands the pelican and hops out the back.

That would be a good. It kinda reminds me of the Human-Covenant war. When 5 mariens made up against 500 Unggoy.

Yeah that would be awesome especially with heavy weapons against banshees

Spartan Ops could have drop pods in future episodes.
